Yes — searching, browsing and viewing listings on FindNearby.in is completely free for consumers. Business owners can also list their businesses for free.
Our base data comes from official MSME UDYAM registrations. Business owners can claim and update their listings to keep information current. We also remove closed or duplicate businesses as we discover them.
🏢 For Business Owners
Click "List Your Business" in the top navigation. You can either claim an existing listing (if your business is already in our database from government data) or create a new listing.
Search for your business, open the listing page, and click "Claim this Business." After verifying you own it via OTP or document upload, you'll get full editing access.
Free listings include name, address, phone, category and a description. Once you claim your listing you can also add photos, services, products, offers, opening hours, WhatsApp and website. Verified members additionally get a verified badge, priority search ranking and an analytics dashboard.
New listings are reviewed and typically go live within 24–48 hours. Claimed listings update immediately.
Yes — claim the listing and then contact our support team to request removal. We process these within 48 hours.
⭐ Reviews & Q&A
Visit any business listing page and click "Write a Review." You'll need to create a free account or log in first.
No — businesses cannot delete reviews. However, they can respond to reviews. We only remove reviews that violate our content policy (fake, abusive, or spam reviews).
On any review, click the flag icon to report it to our moderation team.
Yes — visit any listing page, go to the "Q&A" tab, and submit your question. The business owner or other users can answer it.
🔒 Privacy & Safety
When you submit an enquiry, your name, phone and email are shared with that specific business only. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Your reviews and questions will be anonymised, not deleted, to preserve the integrity of business listings.
No — your phone number is only shared when you submit an enquiry to a business. It is not publicly shown on your profile.
